Barberton High School has praised its Class of 2025 following the release of the matric results this week.

The 2025 National Senior Certificate or better known as the matric results were officially released this week, bringing relief and excitement to learners, parents and schools across the country.

At Barberton High School, the results were met with pride and satisfaction. According to the school’s principal, Mr Willem Steyn, the Grade 12 class of 2025 delivered a solid performance under challenging academic conditions.

“We are very proud of our Grade 12 learners of 2025. They performed well overall,” Steyn said.

Special congratulations were extended to Kudakwashe Kadzimu, who achieved outstanding academic results, including over 90% in two subjects, two subjects above 80%, with the remaining subjects all above 75%.

Also joining him among the top achievers are Mpumelelo Sithole and Mpho Songo, both of whom achieved overall averages above 75%. Siphesihle Mona achieved an average of 74%.

Steyn concluded by wishing all learner of the Class of 2025 well as they take their next steps beyond school. “We wish all our Grade 12 learners of 2025 everything of the best for the future,” he said.
